1.1. Basic information
1.1.1. Introduction
The X-KEY Terminator machine is a CNC key cutting and milling machine designed for making key profiles. The design of the device ensures high operating comfort, precision, and safety.
The device is intended for professional key cutters with the appropriate knowledge, experience and technical facilities, including access to conventional key cutting machines.
The installation and operation process is intuitive, but it is necessary to read this manual carefully before use to ensure trouble-free and safe operation.
The machine operates exclusively in stationary mode. During transport, use safety screws Z1 and Z2 to prevent mechanical damage.
Some of the operations described in the manual are additionally presented in the form of instructional videos, available on the official website: x-key.eu

1.1.4. Safety rules
The machine has been designed to ensure maximum safety during operation. Before starting work with the milling machine, it is essential to read this user manual carefully, as it describes all permitted and prohibited operations.
Danger
During machine operation, especially during automatic movements of the scanning or milling unit, it is strictly forbidden to touch any moving parts of the device.
Danger
In the event of any dangerous situation, immediately turn off the machine's power supply by pressing the emergency switch located on the control panel (marked EMERGENCY SWITCH).
Warning
No unnecessary items may be left in the machine's working area. Only the box with basic tools and blank keys included in the set may be set on the left side of the upper part of the machine housing, or a computer (laptop) on a dedicated stand.
Warning
All operations must be performed strictly in accordance with the messages displayed on the control panel screen.
Info
For safety reasons, the machine only starts moving its axes after the button on the control panel assigned to the relevant option has been pressed and released. It is not possible to trigger automatic axis movement in any other way (e.g. via USB communication), which prevents the machine from being started accidentally by external software.
